I recently read a Zero Balancing article, “The Case for Touch,” by Amanda King. Amanda and I are certified Zero Balancing practitioners.
Amanda wrote: “In Zero Balancing, we experience that bone holds tension, caused by forces of muscle, tendons and joints acting on bone. Bone-held tension is also the result of insults and other impacts in early childhood, when bones are growing…and are unprotected by any ‘armor’ we may form later.”
This quote reinforces my view that our bodies are absorbent and suggests the ease with which shocks—whether physical or emotional—can create tension and manifest as energetic imbalances. Our body holds our experiences and our energy. During a Zero Balancing session, my skilled touch supports stress relief; the result is more space for you to be complete and well.
When our work and our life are in balance, we have health, contentment and well-being. Zero Balancing, a body/mind therapy, creates a path to health and wholeness. In Zero Balancing, the client is the change-agent; I hold and respect you as the architect of all change.
The possibility for change occurs when you feel safe and secure and are held with the highest positive regard. From the time you enter the room until the end of the session, I will hold you with unconditional acceptance which encourages you and all the unhealed spaces within to settle and move towards healing.
Zero Balancing offers you an opportunity to reduce pain, relieve stress and take charge, so that you can create the balance you want in your life!
